The Supersport, which is 999’s second model after the Hacker, is motivated by a mid-mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged Ecotec 4-cylinder engine. Maximum power is 300HP and torque reaches 350 Nm (258 lb/ft), transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed sequential gearbox and a limited-slip differential.
Its suspension features double wishbones with adjustable shock absorbers and roll bars all around. The Supersport also has 18-inch alloy monobloc wheels and 320 mm front and 285 mm rear discs with six- and four-piston calipers respectively.
The interior is, as befitting a track-day special, short of amenities though it features racing seats, six-point seatbelts, a carbon fiber dashboard, a fire extinguisher and a programmable LCD instrument panel.
The company hasn’t announced performance numbers, but with 300HP and just 950 kg performance shouldn’t be an issue.
